At least 22 people, including children and women, have been injured in a shooting during New Year's Eve celebrations in Pakistan's Karachi city. Geo News has given this information. Injured are being treated in several hospitals
The injured in the aerial firing have been admitted to various hospitals in the city, including eight Civil Hospitals, and four Jinnah Hospitals. Along with this, ten injured including women and children are being treated at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Geo News reported that police had imposed a ban on aerial firing in the city. However, the whole city echoed with the sound of heavy shelling in the celebration of the new year.
Police arrested 10 accused
It may be known that the police have started arresting people in this matter. So far more than ten people have been arrested. A case of murder attempt has been registered against the arrested accused. Police are investigating further in this matter.
