Foreign Minister: Foreign Minister of France is coming to India on a three-day visit, and will discuss international issues

France's Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna is coming to India on her three-day visit on Tuesday. She will hold talks with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest.

 

In a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs on Monday, Minister Colona is coming to India on her official visit from 13 to 15 September. Colona will meet External Affairs Minister Jaishankar on September 14 during his stay in New Delhi. The Ministry of External Affairs said that India and France have a long-standing strategic partnership, which has been strengthened by regular high-level consultations and increasing convergence in various fields.

 

The statement said his visit will pave the way for further strengthening partnerships in the areas of trade, defence, climate, migration and mobility, education, and health.
