On the growing hand for help from all over the world, the Ministry of External Affairs says that the way India helped other countries last year is also its effect. Officials of the Ministry of External Affairs made it clear that India has not requested help from any country, but the countries that want to help, are not being denied from the point of view of humanity.
The abundance of foreign help in the fight with Corona
Meanwhile, because of the plethora of foreign aid in the fight against Corona, the Central Government has formed a high-level inter-ministerial group, which will expedite the proposals in this regard. This group will also help the states and local administrations in rapidly transporting goods from abroad to the destination within the country. Sources in the Ministry of External Affairs have said that according to preliminary estimates, the fight for the elimination of Corona is expected to go on. Apart from securing foreign help, India is also working towards strengthening the international alliance in the fight against Corona and other epidemics.
Negotiations are on to establish a global supply chain in the pharma sector led by the US, on the other hand in a virtual meeting between industry, commerce ministers of India, Australia, and Japan on Tuesday to strengthen the supply chain linked to the end of Covid. There was a separate meeting. Declaration of help from many countries
Help was announced by many countries on Tuesday. Out of this, Australia has announced to send 500 ventilators, 10 lakh surgical masks, five lakh N95 masks, one lakh spectacles, gloves, and face masks. Australian PM Scott Morrison described the second wave of Corona in India as a tragedy for humanity, saying that we will always stand with India. Germany has announced 120 ventilators, 23 oxygen generators, and training in rapid test techniques.
The European Union has announced the sending of 700 oxygen concentrators, oxygen ventilators, 365 ventilators, and 9000 Remedisvir doses from Belgium. Romania has announced to send 80 oxygen concentrators and 75 oxygen cylinders, Luxembourg 58 ventilators, Portugal 503 Remedisvir Doz, Sweden 120 ventilators.
It is worth mentioning that India has also helped 150 countries in the fight against Corona in the last year by giving them various medicines, vaccines, and PPE kits, etc. Most of the countries that have helped India are those who have also received help from India in the last year.
