For the sisters who tie Rakhi on the wrists of their brothers on the Raksha Bandhan festival, sufficient buses will be run on all routes across the state including the Gorakhpur region from 17 to 22 August. During this time, sisters will get the gift of free travel from the government on 19 and 20 August. Regarding this, the government has issued guidelines to all regional managers, assistant regional managers, and service managers.
The government says that the officers should ensure the arrangement of additional buses not only on long distances but also on local routes. So that people do not face any problems. The government has canceled the leave of officers and employees from 17 to 22 August for uninterrupted bus operation on all routes.

To be eligible for the scheme during the incentive period, the concerned driver/conductor will be given incentives only if the load factor of the service is more than 64 percent.
Additional buses will be run on the Gorakhpur to Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur, Delhi, and Prayagraj routes. The number of trips by buses already running on local routes will be increased. All buses will be run stopping at the scheduled stops.
