MP Rahul Gandhi has reached Chandigarh today to prepare a roadmap for the expansion of the organization of the Haryana Congress. Rahul will reach the Haryana Congress office and hold a meeting with senior Congress leaders. After this, he will hold a meeting with the central observers appointed for the expansion of the organization and their supporting leaders. During this, Rahul will give guidelines regarding the expansion of the organization in Haryana which has been pending for 11 years.

A sharp altercation was seen between Haryana Congress workers and Chandigarh Police. According to sources, many workers were stopped from entering the Congress office located in Sector-9, due to which angry workers started arguing with the police. The workers said that they were excited to welcome their leader Rahul Gandhi, but the police stopped them from entering citing security reasons.

Rahul will prepare a roadmap for the politics of the Haryana Congress in four hours.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and MP Rahul Gandhi will reach Chandigarh Airport at 11.10 am on Wednesday and the party office located in Chandigarh Sector-9 by 12 noon regarding the expansion of the organization of Haryana Congress. During this, state in-charge BK Hariprasad, state president Udaybhan, and other top leaders of the state will welcome Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi will prepare a roadmap for Haryana Congress politics by sitting for four hours in the PCC office.

Rahul Gandhi will hold a meeting with 17 senior leaders from 12.15 pm to 3 pm. These will include President Chaudhary Udaybhan, former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda, National General Secretary and Sirsa MP Kumari Selja, National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha member Randeep Surjewala, Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda and many senior leaders of the All India Congress Committee and Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee. After this, there will be a 15-minute lunch break. During this, a list of top leaders who will have lunch with Rahul has been prepared and they have also been informed. From 3.15 pm to 4.15 pm, Rahul will hold a meeting with the central observers appointed for the expansion of the organization and the state-level leaders deployed with them to take feedback in the districts. On the roadmap given by Rahul, work will start afresh on the future action plan including the process of expansion of the organization of the state Congress. Rahul will leave for Chandigarh airport at 3.30 pm.

Rahul can pull up Jaichands.

Rahul will talk about many important issues on the expansion of the organization of the Haryana Congress which is running on the lines of the Gujarat model. In the Gujarat model, Rahul had made it clear that now only real Congressmen will stay in the party. For this reason, standards have also been set for district presidents. Rahul can also pull up Jaichands who are helping BJP by staying in the party. It is also believed that after Rahul's visit, the appointment of the Leader of the Opposition can also be done.

Uniting top leaders is a challenge.

After 11 years, there is a strong possibility of expansion of the Haryana Congress organization. Earlier, many attempts at organization expansion had failed due to the factionalism of senior leaders of the Haryana Congress. For the first time, keeping the factionalism of senior leaders away, the exercise of organization expansion has started under the supervision of central observers.

The party's state in-charge BK Hariprasad has also claimed to complete the entire process in a month. But it will be a big challenge for Rahul Gandhi to unite the top leaders of the state by ending their mutual tussle and factionalism.

Congress lost about 12 to 15 seats in the assembly by a narrow margin. The losing leaders also accused the party of factionalism and tussle among senior leaders.

Organization is fine but only senior leaders are the faces on the ground.

As per the instructions of Rahul Gandhi, central observers from other states are appointing district presidents and block level leaders. But only senior leaders of the state are the prominent faces at the ground level. Former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda, National General Secretary and MP Kumari Selja, National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Singh Surjewala are veteran leaders in the state. These leaders are believed to have different factions. The biggest challenge will be to unite the senior leaders wholeheartedly at the ground level.

52 leaders had accepted factionalism among senior leaders

After finding out the reasons for the defeat in the assembly elections, party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi formed a fact-finding committee. The committee held a virtual meeting with 52 candidates who lost the election and asked the reasons for their defeat. All the candidates blamed the party's factionalism, sabotage, and mutual rivalry among senior leaders for their defeat.

Leave the past, Rahul Gandhi is coming, everything will be fine: Udaybhan.

On many issues including factionalism among senior Congress leaders in the state, some MLAs' attachment to BJP and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and statements against the party, non-appointment of Leader of Opposition, Udaybhan said that leave the past. All that is over. Rahul Gandhi is coming, there will be talks with all the senior leaders and everyone will be seen together with all their heart.
