To ensure that there is no lapse in security, the security unit has started rehearsals at full capacity in collaboration with all the central agencies. During the rehearsal on Thursday, the NSG landed the helicopter on the terrace of Le Meridien Hotel in the New Delhi district at around 11:30 a.m.

When heads of state and officials of international organizations visit the hotels, the employees will be locked inside the rooms. Due to security reasons, they will not be allowed to go out.
The process of taking control of the hotel will start from today.
The police officer says that for the last 15 days, all the agencies are inspecting the hotels at their respective levels. Local police have been deployed. From Friday, the security unit will gradually start taking over all 23 hotels. All the hotels will be taken over within two to three days.
There will be deployment of multiple agencies inside and outside the hotels. NSG will also be deployed in all hotels. Anti-aircraft guns will be placed on the rooftops of all hotels. Anti-drone systems have already been installed. Paramilitary commandos will be stationed on the rooftops with binoculars and state-of-the-art weapons.

A joint exercise of Delhi Police, Indian Air Force, and central paramilitary forces is underway at Pragati Maidan, Aerocity, Raisina Road, and other prominent places to check security preparedness.
