Delhi Police and Central Security Forces have made foolproof security arrangements for the foreign guests attending the 18th G20 Summit. Special snipers of NSG will be ready for ground and air security when all these guests gather at the venue of Pragati Maidan. This group of snipers, riding in 24 helicopters of the Air Force, will make the area of five kilometers impregnable.
If there is a need to land the helicopter at the venue in case of an emergency, then a helipad has been prepared for it. Special sniper commandos of the National Security Guard NSG will be part of the multilayered security system designed for foreign guests.
There will be four helicopters at a time
Explain that a five-tier security has been prepared for foreign guests in New Delhi. Commandos have been deployed at every 100 meters where the foreign guests will stay. From the airport to hotels, Pragati Maidan venue, Rajghat, and other places where foreign guests can visit, there will be 360-degree security cover.
According to sources, wherever the convoy of foreign guests will leave, personnel of central paramilitary forces will be deployed there apart from Delhi Police. On September 9 and 10, a total of 24 helicopters of the Indian Air Force will patrol within a radius of five kilometers of Pragati Maidan. Four helicopters will keep an eye on the sky at a time. After a fixed time, two helicopters will go out of the security cordon, while two new helicopters will join the cordon. A Delhi Police Inspector, ACP, and NSG commandos will be on board in a helicopter.
CRPF commandos will protect the carcade
The brave commandos of CRPF will take care of the security of the President and Prime Minister of 14 countries during the carcade. A special squad of around 950 suit-booted 'protectors' has been prepared by CRPF at the VIP Security Training Centre, located in Greater Noida. 50 trainers of CRPF have prepared a squad of guards for the perfect security of foreign guests. About 48 teams of guards and drivers have been formed. More than 100 bulletproof vehicles are ready. CRPF squads will be responsible for the security of the carcade of foreign guests. Apart from this, the brave commandos of CRPF will also be there in the nearest security circle.
Since left-hand driving is prevalent in many countries, CRPF has trained about 120 such drivers who can drive left-hand vehicles without any problem. Along with this, the security cover for the guests traveling in left-hand vehicles also changes. For this too, special training has been given to the jawans.

Along with this, 400 traffic police personnel will be present in and around Pragati Maidan.
