It is worth noting that after opening a picket at the Tikri border of Delhi-Haryana, the site of farmers' agitation, now the Delhi Police is doing the same at the UP Gate (Ghazipur border). Delhi Police personnel are getting the barricade removed on the Ghazipur border since Friday morning. Eastern District Police Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Kashyap has confirmed that action will be taken to remove barricades from the Ghazipur border of Delhi-UP. After some time the barricades will be completely removed here. At present we are opening NH-9, after that NH-24 will also be opened. On the other hand, a part of Rohtak road is also being cleaned from the Delhi side on the Tikri border of Delhi-Haryana. After the removal of barricades from the Tikri and Ghazipur border, it will be easy to travel between Delhi to UP and Haryana.
Vehicles will fill speed on NH-9 and NH-24
According to top officials of the Delhi Police, after the removal of barricades on the Ghazipur border of Delhi-UP, the road from Ghaziabad to Delhi can be opened. The general public is happy that after the removal of the barricade on the Ghazipur border, the movement from Ghaziabad to Delhi will be normal again only after 11 months.

Security beefed up at UP Gate
Explain that all the lanes leading to Delhi at the UP Gate are occupied by the protesters since November 28, 2020. The police had put up barricades here as part of the security arrangements. According to Gyanendra Singh, Superintendent of Police, Ghaziabad, the security system has been increased at the UP gate after the stir on the Tikri border.
It is worth noting that a few days ago, the protesters had told the Supreme Court that the Delhi Police has blocked the traffic. Now the way stones are being removed and cleaning is being done by Delhi Police from the lane going to Bahadurgarh, it is expected that by opening this road in a day or two, the police will restore traffic. This border has been closed since November 26, 2020, when a large number of protesters from Punjab called for a march to Delhi.
