Weather Forecast, UP Weather Update, IMD Rainfall Alert: Due to the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal and the Western Disturbance, many states of the country are getting rain these days. The Meteorological Department issued an alert of heavy rain in 25 states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan on Thursday.

 

According to IMD, it will be heavy to very heavy in some areas of three states East UP, West MP, and Rajasthan today. An orange alert has been issued in these states. Apart from this, Yellow Alert has been issued in other 25 states. Talking about Delhi NCR, it is raining in many areas since this morning. According to the Meteorological Department, today it will be cloudy throughout the day. There is a possibility of light rain in many areas and heavy rain in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperature may remain at 31 degrees and 22 degree Celsius respectively.

 

Heavy rain warning in these states, yellow alert issued

 

The Meteorological Department on Thursday said Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, some parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, some parts of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim. In Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, light to moderate rain and thundershower warnings have been issued at some places. A yellow alert has been issued in these states.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the low-pressure area and western disturbance formed over the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of rain in most parts of the country for the next two days. Western Uttar Pradesh will see heavy rain and thundershowers for five days from today. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), Uttarakhand and western Uttar Pradesh will receive heavy rains daily till September 25. During this period, thunderstorms can also be seen. Haryana and Chandigarh may see moderate rains till September 22, East Rajasthan, and East Uttar Pradesh till September 22-23.

 

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain and thundershowers in Odisha, Telangana, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada between September 22 and Madhya Pradesh between September 22-23. There will be very heavy rain in the areas of East Madhya Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh on 22nd September. Moderate rains will occur over Arunachal Pradesh from 22nd to 24th September, Assam, and Meghalaya from 21st to 23rd September, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on 21st and 22nd September.

 

Heavy rain alert in 20 districts of Madhya Pradesh

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be very heavy rain in Morena, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, and Niwari of Madhya Pradesh today i.e. on Thursday. While there is an alert of heavy rain in about 20 districts including districts of Narmadapuram and Gwalior divisions. According to the data from the Meteorological Department, 44 inches of rain have been received in the state from June 1 to September 21, which is 22 percent more than normal.

 

Monsoon active in Rajasthan, heavy rain expected

 

Due to the low-pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, the monsoon is again active in Rajasthan, and heavy to very heavy rains are expected at many places in the next three days. A low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is active over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas on Wednesday and is very likely to move in a west-northwest direction during the next two days.

 

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?

 

It is raining in many areas of Delhi-NCR since Thursday morning. The weather remains pleasant. The weather suddenly changed its mood in Delhi-NCR today and it rained heavily. At the same time, the Meteorological Department says that till September 24, the rainy season is being formed. It may rain in Delhi till September 24, which will give relief to the people from the heat and humidity.
