CBI team is raiding the premises of Delhi Deputy CM and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia. CBI team is raiding 21 locations of Sisodia in Delhi-NCR. CBI raided on Friday morning. Sisodia's house is also included in this. It is being told that these raids are being done in connection with the alleged excise scam in Delhi.

 

Will cooperate in the investigation- Sisodia

 

Manish Sisodia has also tweeted after the CBI action. Sisodia tweeted that we are making the future of lakhs of children. Unfortunately, those who do good work in our country are harassed like this. That is why our country has not yet become number 1.

 

Sisodia also said that we will cooperate fully in the investigation so that the truth can come out. Sisodia further said that till now many cases have been filed against me but nothing has come out. And nothing will come out of it either.

Will not let Delhi's good works stop: Kejriwal

 

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's reaction to the CBI raids on Sisodia's premises has also come to the fore. Kejriwal said that these people want to stop the development work of Delhi, hence raids are being conducted. We will not let the good work of Delhi stop.

 

The matter is related to excise policy

 

Let us inform you that a few days ago, Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena recommended a CBI inquiry against Manish Sisodia in the case related to Delhi's liquor policy. The Lt Governor had made this recommendation based on the report of the Chief Secretary of Delhi filed in July. CBI officials said the FIR has been registered in connection with alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi Excise Policy, which was brought in November last year.
