On May 3, there were 517 cases of corona in the state.

A large number of them are migrant laborers returned from other states. During this period, 333 migrant laborers returned from Delhi were found to be Corona positive. 293 migrant laborers from Maharashtra and 212 returned from Gujarat have been infected with Covid-19. However, due to government slack in screening migrant laborers, the number of corona patients in Bihar has increased.
Government took a big decision regarding the migrant laborers
After the large number of cases of migrant laborers getting corona infected, the Bihar Health Department has decided to divide them into three different categories. Delhi, Gujarat and Maharashtra are placed in category 'A', the second number are those where less number of cases have come from, they are in category 'B' and where there are fewest cases or no positive cases at all, they are in 'C' category. Government's special focus on Corona patients
The Bihar government has made special arrangements for the treatment of corona infected patients. There are 2,344 beds in three dedicated hospitals for Corona patients. Apart from these, there are 7,769 beds in the Dedicated Care Center and Health Center for Corona patients. An official said the state has the capacity to accommodate 15,000 patients.
