Eastern Corridor: Eastern Corridor, connected with the Delhi-Howrah rail route, will start from 15

The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) on Tuesday connected the Eastern Corridor with the Delhi-Howrah rail route. With this, Delhi-NCR is now directly connected to Kolkata. However, now the Eastern Corridor is ready till Bihar. At the same time, DFCC has started preparations to start it on August 15. Soon there will be trials on the corridor by running motor rails and engines.

 

The Eastern Corridor of DFCC is being built between Kolkata and Ludhiana. A link line of the corridor is being prepared from Khurja in Bulandshahr to Bodaki in Gautam Budh Nagar, which is about 50 km. Its work is almost done. Work is underway to connect this line with the Delhi-Howrah rail route at Dadri. The Eastern Corridor has been connected with the software system of the Delhi-Howrah rail route by DFCC by taking an eight-hour mega block on Tuesday.

 

 

During this, the traffic on the Delhi-Howrah rail route in Dadri was completely closed. DFCC officials said that six trains on the Delhi-Howrah route were canceled due to the linking of the Eastern Corridor. While the timings of five trains were changed. After connecting with the software system, now the motor rail and engine will be tried on the corridor by running.

 

The industry of Delhi-NCR will get Sanjivani

 

The officials of DFCC will start the link line from Khurja to Dadri on 15th August. Preparations are underway to launch it with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. If the time comes, it will start. After the commencement of the Eastern Corridor, the industry and businessmen of Delhi-NCR will get a big relief.

 

Will be directly connected to the ports of Kolkata.

 

The Eastern Corridor from Khurja to Bodaki is ready. It will be started on 15th August. Connecting Delhi-NCR with the Eastern Corridor will prove to be a big achievement.
