After the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board canceled the 10th examinations, the Haryana government has also canceled the Haryana School Education Board Bhiwani C 10th examinations. Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar held a meeting with Chief Minister Manohar Lal after a meeting with the Education Department officials, after which the decision to cancel the 10th examinations was taken. The examinations of the 12th have also been postponed till further orders. A final decision can be taken on June 1.
After feedback from the officials, the Haryana government decided on the lines of the central government
The Central Government on Wednesday canceled the CBSE Board's 10th examinations across the country and the 12th examinations were postponed till May 30. The Haryana government was expected to take a similar decision, but before doing so, the education minister discussed with departmental officials. Officials of the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Education, Director of Primary Education, Director of Secondary Education, and Haryana School Education Board Bhiwani said that the impact of Corona is increasing. It is taking more of the children in its grip. Therefore, it is not appropriate to take any kind of risk considering the concern of the parents.
Class 10 children will get marks based on internal assessment, 12th examinations postponed till further orders
Based on the feedback received from education officials, the minister held discussions with Chief Minister Manohar Lal. The Chief Minister said that it is true that the corona is impacting the children. The central government has taken the right step in the interest of children and parents. Therefore Haryana should also cancel the 10th board examinations. The Education Minister said that based on internal assessment, the schools will release the result of Class 10 children. If a child has objections to this assessment and is not satisfied, after the situation becomes normal, he can take the class 10 examination. Otherwise, all the children of the 10th class will be promoted to the next class.
On the question related to the 12th examination of the Haryana School Education Board, Kanwarpal Gurjar said that we have postponed these examinations on the lines of the Central Government. On June 1, the central government called a meeting and asked to take the next decision. We will also meet early and decide on the exams for the 12th. Let us know that the 10th class board examinations were to start from April 22 and run till May 15, while the board exams of class 12 were to be held from April 20 to May 17.
Children should decide the time of study in their daily routine
Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar has advised the children not to stay away from studies by staying in their homes. They should continuously complete their learning process. Science and elective subjects exams not held last year
On average, three and a half lakh and two and a half million students sit for the 10th and 12th examinations of Haryana School Education Board Bhiwani every year. Last year, three lakh 37 thousand 691 candidates appeared in the 10th examination. Out of these, two lakh 18 thousand 120 passed and a compartment of 32 thousand 501 candidates had arrived. 87 thousand 70 candidates remained unsuccessful. Last year, 64.59 percent of students passed the 10th standard examination.
Only the girls had qualified in the 10th exam. Girls had a pass percentage of 69.86 and boys had a pass percentage of 60.27. Girls outnumbered boys by giving them a pass percentage of 9.59 percent. Rishita of Narnaund (Hissar) had a top score of 500 out of 500. Due to corona infection last year, there were no papers in science and elective subjects in the 10th board examinations. The result was released based on the average marks of these subjects.
