The CNG crisis may deepen again in the Gurugram district. According to Haryana City Gas Distribution Limited, CNG gas is on the verge of running out, if the supply is not according to the demand, then the pumps can be closed by Thursday evening.

As another alternative to indigenous CNG, RLNG imported from abroad cannot meet the demand due to high rates. Currently, the rate of domestic CNG for distribution companies is around Rs 45 per kg while the rate of RLNG is around Rs 122 per kg.

HGC CEO Rahul Chopra said that till now the normal supply is not getting as per the demand of gas from GAIL. The situation in this regard was not clear even after talking on Wednesday. In this regard, several attempts were made to contact the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, but so far no satisfactory reply has been received.

Here according to Pawan Kumar, commercial director of Indraprastha Gas Limited, there is normal availability of gas at their 15 pumps. There is no problem, in the last two three days they have supplied more than one lakh kg daily. Regarding the operation of the company's pumps in Faridabad, he said that the permission of the Government of India has been received there. Some permission is awaited from Haryana Government. After that, the company will start supplying in Faridabad. Be aware that there has been a shortage of CNG in Gurugram for the last 8 days due to the huge gap in demand and supply.
