The Allahabad High Court has dismissed the petition of Anjuman Intejamia Masajid Varanasi against the order of the Varanasi District Judge to conduct a scientific survey by ASI in the Gyanvapi campus. ASI survey will continue in the Gyanvapi campus. Chief Justice Pritinkar Diwakar pronounced his judgment at around 10 am.
Explain that the Supreme Court had ordered the High Court to hear while staying the order of the Varanasi District Judge. The hearing was held in the High Court from 25 to 27 July.
No damage to construction from the survey
The Muslim side had also filed a counter affidavit on the ASI's affidavit. In the court on July 27, ASI's Additional Director General Alok Tripathi again made it clear that the survey will not cause any damage to the construction. State-of-the-art technology will be used in the scientific survey. Additional Solicitor General Shashi Prakash Singh quoted the affidavit filed in this regard. Arguing on behalf of the mosque, senior advocates SFA Naqvi and Puneet Gupta, showing the photograph of ASI coming with spade and spade, expressed the apprehension of demolition of the building due to the survey.

On July 21, the District Judge of Varanasi directed the ASI survey of areas other than Vujukhana and Shivling in the Gyanvapi campus. On July 24, on the petition of the Muslim side against this, the Supreme Court, while staying the survey till July 26, advised them to go to the Allahabad High Court.
Petition to ban entry of non-Hindus
A PIL has been filed in the Allahabad High Court with the demand to seal the entire Gyanvapi campus in Varanasi and ban the entry of non-Hindus there. The petition has been filed through advocate Saurabh Tiwari on behalf of Jitendra Singh Visen and others.
Demand to allow worship of Shivling in the month of Sawan
On behalf of Shailendra Yogiraj of Pratapgarh, a prayer has been filed in the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) Shikha Yadav, seeking permission to worship the Shivling found in Gyanvapi campus as Adi Vishweshwar in the month of Sawan. However, on behalf of the government, District Government Advocate (Civil) Mahendra Prasad Pandey said that there is no need for an immediate hearing on the application. A hearing is already pending in the district court in this case. The next hearing will be on August 5.
The mosque side went to the High Court regarding the expenses of the ASI survey
Questioning the expenditure of the ASI survey, Anjuman Intejamia Masjid filed an application in the Allahabad High Court on Wednesday. Joint Secretary SM Yasin said that the ASI had applied in the district judge's court regarding the expenses of the survey. The reply was received that in this regard no fee has been deposited by the plaintiff i.e. the temple side. Under the rule, the fee of the survey and the cost of police protection, if necessary, have to be submitted to the plaintiff's case. The High Court will hear the application on August 3.
