Haryana Municipal Election Results updates:
- Dharuhera municipal election - Independent candidate Kanwar Singh victorious for the post of chairman.
- Uklana municipal election - Independent candidate Sushil Sahu has been the winner, while BJP-JJP candidate Mahendra Soni has lost the election.
- Sampla Municipal Election - Independent candidate Pooja defeated Sonu, BJP candidate for the post of chairman. Independent candidates are Congress party workers, but Congress did not contest the symbol here.
- In the three municipal elections of Haryana, the BJP-JJP alliance has suffered a major setback. Independent candidates have won in all three places. Independent candidates have been declared winners in Ukalana of Hisar, Sampla of Rohtak, and Dharuhera in Rewari.
- BJP has been defeated in Haryana cabinet minister Anil Vij's area. Shakti Rani Sharma, candidate of Jan Chetna Party for the post of Mayor in Ambala Municipal Corporation, won.
In the Sonepat Municipal Corporation election, the post of Mayor has gone to the Congress account. Congress candidate Nikhil Madan defeated BJP candidate Lalit Batra by 13,818 votes.
Independents have also won in Rewari. The results of 9 wards in Rewari have been declared so far. Of these, independents won 6, Congress supported 1 and BJP won 2.
- HLP-backed candidate Nisha Bajaj has won in Sirsa Ward by-election. The BJP-JJP alliance has suffered a setback. His candidate finished third.
According to media reports, Independent candidate Sushil Sahu has won the post of Ukala Municipality President. He defeated his nearest rival Jajpa's Mahendra by around 419 votes. The BJP is also trailing in the post of Mayor in Ambala. Congress is leading in Sonepat.
In Sampla, Independent candidate Pooja has defeated Sonu Devi of BJP.
