As per the order of the Haryana Government, no stone crushers will be allowed to operate within two kilometers of municipal corporations, one kilometer of municipal councils and municipalities, and half a kilometer of villages. On the instructions of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Additional Chief Secretary, Environment Department, Vineet Garg has issued orders in this regard. To check illegal mining, a ban has been imposed on the operation of stone crushers within half a kilometer radius of the mining area and small hill so that mining material cannot be tampered with.
