In the money laundering case, 5 videos of Minister Satyendar Jain, lodged in Tihar Jail, have come to the fore. To prevent these videos from being leaked to the media, they have reached Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. The petition filed by Satyendar Jain demanded that the CCTV footage should not be leaked to the media. The hearing on this matter is to be held today.

Court sent notice to Tihar Jail Authority and sought a reply

On the other hand, Justice Vikas Dhul's bench has sent a notice to the Tihar Jail Administration seeking a reply. According to media reports, it has been said in the notice that if Jain is fasting then he should be given food as per the Delhi Jail Rules.

The court has sought information about the weight of Satyendar Jain.

What was Jain given to eat in the last six months?

Whether his MRI is yet to be done, if so, also tell the reason why it has not been done till now.

BJP has shared 5 videos related to Satyendar Jain's jail life in the last week. Based on these questions have been raised as to why facilities are being given to them in jail.

In the 5th video, hotel food came for the minister

On Wednesday, the BJP shared this one-and-a-half-minute video on social media after the allegation of not getting proper food in jail and 28 kg weight loss. The date of 13 September 2022 was visible in the footage. Food is being served to Satyendar Jain inside the barrack. One person is constantly engaged in his service.

Earlier ED was accused of leaking the video

Satyendar Jain's lawyers Rahul Mehra and Vivek Jain said in the petition that when the ED sent him to Tihar, his weight was 103 kg. Now 75 kg is left. Due to not getting the right food, he has lost 28 kg.

Earlier, he accused ED of leaking the video. Rahul had said that ED is leaking sensitive information to the media despite the court's order and the given promise. However, ED's lawyer Zohaib Hussain denied these allegations.

Mehra had told the court that Kasab, convicted of the Mumbai attack, had also got a fair trial, and Satyendar Jain is not worse than him.
