Ved Prakash, senior scientist of the Meteorological Department, said that the temperature in the Chambal region is expected to increase even more in the coming days. If the temperature rises as per the projections, it will become a record in the region since independence.
Heatwave alert in the state till May 25
The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert till May 25. Hot winds will blow in 22 districts of the state. The night temperature will also increase along with the day. Let us tell you that in the capital Bhopal, the maximum temperature in May 2016 reached 46.7 degrees. This season's maximum of 43.3 has been recorded in Bhopal on Tuesday.
