Hijab Controversy: Kharge targeted BJP over Hijab controversy, Owaisi said – could not give security to Muskaan

The Hijab controversy, which started in Udupi, Karnataka, has reached the Parliament via the High Court, Supreme Court. On Friday, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge targeted the government on this controversy. Kharge said the government and especially the BJP members are responsible for whatever is happening in Karnataka. He said that there are elections in five states and the BJP wants to take advantage of it through the hijab controversy.

 

 

Kharge said that PM Modi was present in the Rajya Sabha. We raised issues on inflation, unemployment, farmers, GDP, national security, and unity, but did not get any response. The PM instead criticized Congress on these issues. He wasted the time of Parliament. He continued his election campaign here as well.

 

 

Owaisi also targeted

AIMIM Asaduddin Owaisi also targeted BJP. On the issue of Z security, he said that when Muskan is surrounded by a dozen boys in Karnataka, then what is the use of Owaisi's security. He said I don't want security. In every section of society, people of every religion should get equal protection. If you can't protect a smile, then I shouldn't either. Nowadays politicians have made it a fashion to have four or four gunmen around them.

 

The protest started in Maharashtra too

The matter of hijab controversy has also reached Maharashtra. There was a protest in Malegaon regarding this, after which Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil said that no one is allowed to protest anywhere. If someone opposes, do so calmly. Cooperate with the police and appeal to political parties not to instigate anyone to disturb the peace.

 

BJP had told Congress responsible

Earlier, Karnataka BJP had blamed Congress for the issue. A day ago a tweet was made by Karnataka BJP on this issue, in which it was said that the Congress leader is responsible for the whole matter. The person fighting the case of hijab dispute in the High Court is a member of Congress.

The controversy over the hijab in the Karnataka government started in January 2022. At that time, in a government college in Udupi, six girl students had reached the college wearing hijab. It is being told that a few days ago the college administration had forbidden the girl students to wear hijab. Despite this, the girls arrived wearing hijabs. When he was stopped, disputes started in other colleges as well.
