Home Minister Shah's security lapse in Mumbai: A man who roamed around the Home Minister for hours, posing as the PA of Andhra MP, arrested

A case of security lapse has come to the fore in Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Mumbai. During Shah's visit to Mumbai, a suspect walked around him for several hours. When the officers got suspicious, they informed the police. He has been arrested by the police.

 

According to the information received by Bhaskar, the name of the suspect is Hemant Pawar, who hails from Dhule in Maharashtra. During interrogation, he introduced himself as the PA of an MP from Andhra Pradesh. He was produced in court on Wednesday. The court has sent him to custody for 5 days.

Hemant, 32, was wearing a Home Ministry band. Due to this, he kept roaming around the Home Minister for several hours. According to media reports, this suspect was also seen roaming outside the house of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis wearing a blazer.

 

Home Minister had reached Mumbai for BMC elections

 

The whole matter is of 4-5 September, when Home Minister Amit Shah had reached Mumbai on a two-day visit for the BMC elections. During this, he worshiped Lord Ganesha at Lalbaugcha Raja, the main Ganesh pandal of the city. Amit Shah reached Mumbai for the first time after the Shinde government was formed in Maharashtra. During this, he also visited the residence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

 

Here Amit Shah gave a target of winning 135 seats out of 227 seats to BJP leaders to win the Mumbai BMC elections. The BMC elections are to be held in September or October.
