A shocking incident took place in Delhi's Nizamuddin area on Thursday night. The entire dispute allegedly arose over a parking dispute. According to reports, the incident took place at around 11 pm in Jangpura Bhogal Market Lane, where a heated argument took the form of an attack.
What was the argument about?
The accused has been identified as Asif Qureshi. It is being said that Asif is the cousin of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. Asif allegedly asked the accused to remove his scooter from in front of his main gate. After this, a heated argument broke out between the two. The accused left the place at that time but threatened to return. After this, they came back at night and killed him.
What work did Asif Qureshi do?
Asif was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Asif's family members, including his wife and relatives, claim that the accused brutally murdered him over a minor issue. He alleged that the accused had earlier quarrelled with Asif over parking and attacked him with a sharp object on the night of the incident. Asif used to run his own chicken business in Delhi.
What did the wife say in her statement?
Describing the incident on Thursday night, one of Asif's wives, Shaheen, told NDTV, "Around 9:30 to 10 pm, a neighbour parked a scooter right outside our house... my husband Asif requested him to remove the vehicle. The man abused Asif and threatened to come again and left. Within a few minutes, the man came with his brother and attacked Asif with a sharp weapon. I called my brother-in-law Javed, but by the time he arrived, Asif had lost a lot of blood and died."
Police are investigating the case
The police have arrested two brothers, Gautam and Ujjwal, in connection with the case. Ujjwal had allegedly instigated the attack. Actress Huma Qureshi has not yet issued any statement regarding this incident.
