Congress leaders furious at Tharoor's allegations

Indira Gandhi proved herself by sacrificing her life. Rajiv Gandhi also sacrificed his life to serve the country. In such a situation, if someone talks about the Gandhi family's dynasty, then which other family in the country has shown such sacrifice, dedication, and capability? Is it the BJP?"

Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that a person cannot be prevented from entering politics because of their family history. He said, "In a democracy, the people decide. You can't prevent someone from entering politics just because their father was an MP. This is happening in every field. How can you avoid it?"

Congress leader Udit Raj defended the Gandhi family's dynastic politics, saying that a doctor's son becomes a doctor, and a businessman's son becomes a businessman. Politics is no exception. BJP takes a dig at Tharoor, supports Tharoor

BJP spokesperson Shahzad Jaihind wrote in a post shared on social media that Shashi Tharoor has directly attacked India's "nepo kid" Rahul Gandhi and "younger nepo kid" Tejashwi Yadav. Shahzad wrote, "Dr. Tharoor has become a daredevil. He has directly attacked the 'nepo kid' or 'dynastic nawab."
