ICC T20 Rankings: Pakistan batsman Mohammad Rizwan moves up to the fourth place, loss to Virat Kohli and KL Rahul

Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan has made tremendous gains in the ICC T20 rankings. He has reached the fourth position in the T20 rankings of batsmen released on Wednesday. These are the best rankings of Rizwan's T20 career. He has gained in the ICC T20 rankings due to the brilliant innings he played against India and New Zealand in the T20 World Cup. Rizwan played match-winning innings of 79 not out against India and 33 against New Zealand.

 

Team India captain Virat Kohli has suffered a loss in the ICC T20 rankings. He has slipped from fourth place to fifth place. Despite scoring a fifty against Pakistan, he has slipped a notch in the ICC T20 rankings for batsmen. KL Rahul has slipped two places to eighth in the ICC Men's T20 rankings released on Wednesday.

 

South African batsman Aidan Markram has jumped eight places. He has reached third place in the ICC T20 rankings. Markram scored 40 not out against Australia and 51 not out against West Indies. Thanks to these innings, he was able to achieve the best ranking of his career. He is now behind England's David Malan (831) and Pakistan's captain Babar Azam (820). Bangladesh's star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has risen to the top of the ICC T20 rankings for all-rounders.
