Tension continues between India and Pakistan. India has attacked 9 terrorist bases of Pakistan. Now, after Operation Sindoor, Foreign Minister Jaishankar's statement has come out. The Foreign Minister said, India has no intention of increasing tension with Pakistan. While giving a befitting reply to Pakistan, Jaishankar said, if there are military attacks on the country, it will be responded to very strongly.

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said on Thursday that India has no intention of increasing tension with Pakistan, but if there are military attacks on the country, it will respond very strongly. Jaishankar made this remark in a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The Foreign Minister said that the 'barbaric' terrorist attack in Pahalgam forced India to 'attack the terrorist infrastructure across the border' on Wednesday.

'If there are attacks on us then...',

S Jaishankar said, 'This attack forced us to respond by attacking the terrorist infrastructure across the border on May 7. Our response was targeted and measured.' He said, 'It is not our intention to escalate the situation. However, if there are military attacks on us, there should be no doubt that it will be responded to very strongly.'

Jaishankar's blunt words to Iran's Foreign Minister

Jaishankar said that as a neighbor and close partner, it is important that Iran has a good understanding of the situation. Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, the Iranian Foreign Minister arrived in New Delhi on a scheduled visit at midnight last night.
