Corona updates
The first phase of the census in the country has been deferred because of Corona. It has also been decided to postpone the updation of the National Population Register (NPR) to be held along with the census. The central government gave this information in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
In Punjab, 14 students and three teachers have been found corona positive at the government high school in Saloh village of Nawanshahar. The school has been closed in a hurry.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that soon schools in Delhi will be opened with full capacity. Schools have been closed since March last year due to Corona.
From January 18, the government allowed schools for 10th and 12th students to be opened.

4. Rajasthan
On Tuesday, 87 people were found corona infected. 235 patients recovered and two people died. So far, 3.17 lakh cases have been reported. Of these, 3.13 lakh infected have been cured, while 2,768 patients have lost their lives. There are currently 1,798 patients who are undergoing treatment.
