Now Modi can take oath as Prime Minister for the third time on June 8 or 9. Preparations have begun to make the swearing-in ceremony grand. Many foreign guests have also been invited. The Prime Ministers of Bangladesh and Nepal have also confirmed that they will attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Invitations sent to these countries

A day earlier, information came that top leaders of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, and Mauritius are likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Formal invitations are being prepared to be sent on Thursday.

Congratulations to Modi

Sources said on Thursday that Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal have confirmed that they will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, Hasina and her Nepal counterpart Dahal had congratulated Narendra Modi for the victory of the NDA in the 18th Lok Sabha elections.

Formal announcement soon

An official said that PM Modi spoke to Dahal, popularly known as Prachanda, over the phone on Wednesday. During the conversation, acting Prime Minister Modi invited the Prime Minister of Nepal to the swearing-in ceremony. On this, Dahal confirmed his presence. The official further said that a formal announcement of Dahal's participation in the ceremony will be made soon.

Hasina will leave tomorrow

M Najrul Islam, the speechwriter for Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said that after receiving an invitation from Narendra Modi, Prime Minister Hasina is leaving from Dhaka to Delhi tomorrow to attend his swearing-in ceremony. He further said that Sheikh Hasina will leave Dhaka in the afternoon by a special flight and will be in the national capital till the afternoon of June 9.

When asked about the possibility of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the ceremony, Islam said, "Although such a meeting has not been confirmed yet, the delegations accompanying the leaders will be very small."

Sheikh Hasina emphasized the strong relationship between Bangladesh and India and said, "India is our tested and loyal neighbor." We have good relations between India and Bangladesh.
