Mohd. Siraj excluded from Playing XI in 2nd test against England: The second match of the series between India and England is being played at the Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. There have been many changes in India's playing eleven in this match. Meanwhile, Mohammad Siraj has not been given a place in the playing eleven this time.

 

BCCI gave information

After the toss in the second match, BCCI gave this information by sharing a post on its X handle. BCCI wrote that Mohammed Siraj is being released from the Indian squad for the second Test against England.

 

Why did you make this decision?

This decision has been taken keeping in mind the timing of the series and the amount of cricket Siraj has played for some time. He said that he would be available in Rajkot for selection in the third Test. However, Siraj was not successful in taking even a single wicket in the first test.

 

Aavosh Khan will join the team

Avesh Khan is rejoining Team India in the second test. Apart from this, Rajat Patidar got a chance to debut in the second match. Apart from this, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul are also not playing in this match, in their place Rajat Patidar, Mukesh Kumar, and Kuldeep Yadav have been given place.
