The last match of the five-match Test series between India and England (IND vs ENG 5th Test) is being played in Dharamshala. On the first day of this match, the Indian team's star Shubman Gill got injured. Gill took a wonderful catch of Ben Duckett in England's first innings.

Duckett tried to hit a big shot on Kuldeep's ball, but Gill ran backward and caught him. Everyone couldn't believe their eyes as Gill ran about 20 yards, dived, and caught the ball with both hands. After Gill's catch, fans remembered Kapil Dev's catch.

IND vs ENG: Shubman Gill took an amazing catch in the style of Kapil Dev

Kuldeep Yadav had come to bowl for India in the 18th over of England's innings. During this time Ben Duckett and Jack were present at the crease. Jack and Ben gave a good start to England. Indian bowlers were not able to break the partnership between the two, but captain Rohit handed the ball to Kuldeep and Kuldeep made Ben Duckett his victim on the last ball of the first over.

Ben tried to play a big shot, but the ball took the edge of his bat and went into the air, and fielder Shubman Gill (Shubman Gill Catch) ran backward and took a diving catch. Seeing this catch of his reminded me of the memorable catch of Kapil Dev which he took against West Indies in the 1983 World Cup. Kapil ran a long distance during that time and took the catch at the right time. He showed Vivian Richards the way to the pavilion.
