India Lockdown Updates: Lockdown extended in these big states of the country, know where the tightening ban took place

The second wave of Corona in the country has caused outrage. Most states of the country have come in the grip of the second wave. Thus, all states are using lockdown as a weapon against Corona. All states of the country are trying to break the Corona transition chain. So that this uncontrollable pace of corona infection can be reduced in the country. Because of this, several states of the country have decided to increase the coronavirus lockdown. These states include Bihar, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand. Apart from this, there are many states where strict restrictions like lockdown or lockdown have already been imposed. Lockdown extended till 25 May in Bihar

 

The lockdown ending in Bihar on May 15 has been extended till May 25. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself informed about this by tweeting.

 

Lockdown extended for 15 days in Maharashtra

 

In Maharashtra, the lockdown has been extended by 15 days. Given the threat of the Corona epidemic, the Maharashtra government has extended the lockdown in the state till June 1. Orders have also been issued by the government which has all the guidelines. Some new rules have also been added to this so that the corona chain can be broken. Earlier the lockdown was implemented in the state till 15 May.

 

Lockdown extended till May 27 in Jharkhand

 

The Jharkhand government has extended the mini lockdown (Health Safety Week) for the next two weeks. Now it will remain in effect till 6 am on 27 May. Along with this, in addition to the restrictions already issued before six o'clock in the morning of May 16, four new restrictions will also remain in effect. Under this, in the presence of a maximum of 11 people, including the bride and groom, the wedding will be held only in their homes or in the court. Any type of event will be banned on this occasion.

 

Telangana extended 10-day lockdown

 

The 10-day lockdown has been extended in Telangana. It was decided to impose lockdown for 10 days in the state from May 12.

 

Complete lockdown in one district of Chhattisgarh

 

Due to the increase in corona cases in Chhattisgarh, a complete lockdown has been imposed in the Gorella-Pendra-Marwahi district from midnight of May 12 to midnight of May 15.

 

Strict restrictions in Assam

 

The Assam government has said that because of the increasing cases of COVID-19, stringent restrictions should be implemented. It is permissible to open all shops from 5 am onwards on May 13 till 1 pm every day until further orders.

 

Night curfew in 36 cities of Gujarat

 

Gujarat has also announced the extension of night curfew and other restrictions in 36 cities of the state by May 18. Night curfew has been imposed in these cities including Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, and Vadodara from 8 am to 6 am.

 

Lockdown till 17 May in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi

 

The country's largest state UP has announced to extend the period of corona curfew (lockdown) to 17 May. The lockdown in Delhi has also been extended till Monday, 17 May.

 

Lockdown was increased in Haryana-Rajasthan

 

The Haryana government has extended the restrictions on lockdown in the state till 17 May. There will be a strict lockdown in Rajasthan from 5 am (May 10) to May 24.

 

Partial lockdown in Andhra Pradesh from 12 noon to 6 pm for two weeks from May 6

 

Lockdown in Himachal Pradesh from May 7 to 16

 

May 5 to 14 days lockdown in Odisha

 

Janata curfew in Madhya Pradesh till 15 May

Full lockdown in Mizoram from 10-17 May

 

Curfew in seven districts of Manipur from May 8 to 17

 

Many districts should take 6-8 weeks lockdown- ICMR

 

Director-General of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Dr. Balaram Bhargava has said that the lockdown in the districts with the highest number of cases to control corona infection should remain for six to eight weeks. In districts where the positivity rate is more than 10 percent, then there should be a lockdown. Currently, three-fourth of the total 718 districts in the country have a positivity rate of over 10 percent, including cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
