2.81 lakh new cases in 24 hours
Corona was confirmed in 2 lakh 81 thousand 683 people in the country on the previous day. This is the first time in the last 26 days when less than 3 lakh new infections have been identified in a single day. Earlier on April 20, 2.94 lakh new cases of Corona were reported.
At the same time, 4,092 people also died on Sunday. It is a matter of relief that during this time 3 lakh 78 thousand 388 people also beat Corona. This is the second-highest number of people recovering in a day. Earlier, on May 8, 3.86 lakh people had recovered from Corona.

Partial lockdown in 13 states/union territories
There is a partial lockdown in 13 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.
Corona Updates

1. Maharashtra
On Sunday, 34,389 people were found infected. 59,318 people recovered and 974 died. So far, 53.78 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 48.26 lakh people have been cured, while 81,486 people have died. 4.68 lakh patients are currently being treated.
2. Uttar Pradesh
On Sunday, 10,505 people were found infected. 24,837 people recovered and 308 people died. So far, 16.19 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 14.39 lakh have been cured, while 17,546 patients succumbed. Here, 1.63 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
3. Delhi
In Delhi, 6,456 people were found corona positive on Sunday. 9,706 people recovered and 262 died. So far, 13.93 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 13.09 lakh people have been cured, while 21,506 patients have died. 62,783 are undergoing treatment here.
4. Chhattisgarh
On Sunday, 4,888 people were found corona infected. 11,552 people recovered and 144 died. So far, 9.12 lakh people in the state have been infected. Of these, 7.97 lakh people have been cured, while 11,734 patients have died. 1.03 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
5. Gujarat
On Sunday, 8,210 people in the state were found to be Corona positive. 14,483 people recovered and 82 died. So far, 7.52 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 6.38 lakh people have been cured, while 9,121 patients have died. 1.04 lakh people are being treated here.
6. Madhya Pradesh
On Sunday, 7,106 people in the state were found to be Corona positive. 12,345 people recovered and 79 died. So far, 7.31 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 6.29 lakh people have been cured, while 6,992 people have died. 94,652 patients are undergoing treatment.
