Defense Minister will meet soldiers deployed on LAC

About a month ago i.e. on 9 December 2022, Chinese soldiers tried to infiltrate the Indian border in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. But the Indian Army had not only failed to this intrusion of Chinese soldiers but had also driven them out of its border. Although the matter was resolved after a flag meeting between the military commanders of the two countries, the tension on the LAC remains intact. In such a situation, it is believed that on Tuesday's visit to Arunachal Pradesh, the Defense Minister can also meet the soldiers deployed on LAC. On December 25, the Corps Commander of the Indian Army also encouraged the soldiers stationed there by reaching the forward post of Tawang and praised their determination.

BRO is strengthening border infrastructure on LAC

The BRO is busy strengthening the border infrastructure on the LAC, first in East Ladakh and now in Arunachal Pradesh, amid the tussle with the PLA Army of China so that the movement of the army can be made easier. Apart from this, the local people living on the border can also get the benefit of the network of bridges and roads. According to BRO, in the last year i.e. 2022, a total of 103 projects were completed along the borders with China and Pakistan. These include 67 bridges, 30 roads, 02 helipads, and 01 carbon housing.

India's infrastructure on LAC equals China's

The DG of BRO himself claims that now India's infrastructure on LAC (Line of Actual Control) has become at par with that of China. After the 1962 war, India did not pay much attention to the development works in the border areas adjacent to China. But for almost a decade, like China, India has done the work of road, bridge, and border defense very fast on the border.
