India-Qatar: India-Qatar signed economic agreements, and will work together in these areas

The Finance Ministry said on Tuesday that India and Qatar have signed an agreement to promote and develop cooperation in economic policies along with the framework of public-private partnership and investment, and use of financing instruments.

 

Signed during India visit

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of financial and economic cooperation was signed between the two countries on February 18 during the visit of Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to India.

 

The ministry said, 'The purpose of the MoU is to promote and develop cooperation in the areas of economic policies, use of financing instruments, the format of public-private partnership and investment.'

 

The MoU is expected to open new opportunities for investment in both countries.

This MoU is expected to explore new and emerging areas and opportunities for investment in both countries. The Finance Ministries of both countries will promote cooperation models and areas.

 

Both countries will take initiatives to organize expert workshops, seminars and conferences, exchange of documentary and technical information in the areas of joint work and maintain dialogue between the business communities of the two countries.

 

Work will be done on working together and investment

The ministry said that this MoU reflects the commitment of both sides to work together and open new opportunities for investment, development, and progress.
