India has objected to the remarks of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) regarding the delimitation in Jammu and Kashmir. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said on Monday – We are disappointed that the OIC Secretary has once again made inappropriate remarks on India's internal affairs. Jammu and Kashmir is our integral part and inseparable part.
Without naming Pakistan, India said that this organization should refrain from spreading its communal agenda at the behest of any one country. OIC criticized India for the delimitation in Jammu and Kashmir, soon after which India reacted.
Let us inform you that the Central Commission on the delimitation of the Assembly and Lok Sabha seats of Jammu and Kashmir submitted its final report in early May.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) raised objections to the delimitation in Jammu and Kashmir by tweeting on Monday. It said that this effort of India to change the demographic structure of Jammu and Kashmir violates the rights of the Kashmiri people.
The OIC said – this process of delimitation is a direct violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions and international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention.
Have made anti-India comments before
This is not the first time the OIC has made such a comment. Only last month, the OIC called the president of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference to its foreign minister-level meeting in Islamabad. India had expressed strong objection on this issue as well.
Only a few weeks later, the OIC alleged human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir. A resolution was also passed in the OIC meeting regarding this. The organization had said that unless the Kashmir issue is resolved, lasting peace will not be achieved. Terming this resolution as absurd, the Ministry of External Affairs said that all these allegations are baseless and baseless.

The OIC was established in May 1971 after the 1967 Arab-Israeli war. Its full name is the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Its purpose was to help Palestine and free it from the shadow of Israel. Starting with 30 countries, today 57 countries are its members. Their total population is about 180 crores.
