Students from more than 40 countries are studying in many institutions including Gautam Buddha University. Director of International Affairs of Gautam Buddha University, Dr. Arvind Singh said that the number of foreign students has been increasing for many years. More than a dozen courses are being run here for them. Students come to do graduation and PhD. Given the increasing number of foreign students, many courses are going to start from the new session. Along with this, work on a new building is to be done in the university. At the same time, more than a thousand students are studying many courses including engineering, management, architecture, medical in Sharda University. Students are studying in Amity, Galgotias, NIU.

Students from many countries including Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Burma, Bhutan, and South Asia come to study at Noida universities. Students from many countries are studying in Buddhist Studies.
Foreign institutions will open campuses in YIDA City.
Higher education institutes will be established in YIDA City being developed by Yamuna Authority. Many big institutions from India and abroad are going to set up their campuses here. The American company has demanded 100 acres of land for the university and educational institution. BITS Pilani Group, a famous engineering institute, has also proposed 40 acres of land. Rama University has also sought land from the authority.
