Investigation is still on regarding the explosives found in a vehicle outside the house of Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani. The terrorist organization Jaish-ul-Hind has also distanced itself from the case. The Mumbai Police has now started investigating the Maoist angle in this case. Police suspect that Maoist organizations may also be behind handing explosives outside Mukesh Ambani's house.
On February 25, an explosive substance was found in a Scorpio vehicle outside Antilia, Mukesh Ambani's house. On February 28, a terrorist organization named Jaish-ul-Hind came into the limelight when in a post on Telegram, the organization claimed responsibility for placing explosives outside Ambani's house. The post also said that if Mukesh Ambani does not accept the demands of the organization, then his family members are in danger. The post even wrote that this is just the trailer, the picture is yet to come.
However, after this, the Mumbai Police itself issued a banner stating that Jaish-ul-Hind is not behind the explosives. 25 gelatin sticks were placed outside Ambani's house, which weighed two and a half kilos.
According to the India Today news, now the needle of suspicion of Mumbai Police has come on Maoist organizations. Maoist organizations also use gelatin sticks for attacks. Not only this, the gelatin sticks which were found outside Ambani's house, where they were bought in Nagpur, are near Gadchiroli, which is considered to be the center of Maoists.
There is also a theory of Mumbai Police that due to the ongoing farmers' agitation in Delhi, Ambani has been threatened by ultra left-wing organizations. The left parties have been continuously alleging that Ambani took away their fields from the farmers for contract farming. Ambani has already made it clear that he is not interested in contract farming.
However, the Mumbai Police is still empty-handed in the case. Two and a half kilos of gelatin sticks were found outside Mukesh Ambani's house. If it had exploded, it would have affected the area of 3 thousand square feet. The Mumbai Police has received 4 number plates from the Scorpio vehicle. Of these, 3 number plates are like the vehicles of Ambani's security convoy and one number plate is like the car of Mukesh Ambani's wife Nita Ambani.
The Mumbai Police has ascertained that Hiren Mansukh, a businessman based in Scorpio Thane, was stolen.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Milling Bharambe said that the police are investigating the case from every angle, including the terrorist conspiracy. The National Security Agency, or NIA, has also joined the investigation. Police have sent Scorpio for a forensic investigation.
