There will be Islamic law once again in Afghanistan. The Taliban has issued an order to fully implement Islamic law in Afghanistan. Amid growing concern over the human rights situation in Afghanistan, Taliban supreme leader Mawlawi Hebatullah Akhundzada has ordered judges to fully apply Islamic law.

 

It is the first time a Taliban leader has issued a formal order to fully implement all aspects of Islamic law across the country since the Islamic group came to power.

 

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said Haibatullah Akhundzada gave the order after meeting a group of judges. The judges' meeting also ordered that cases of thieves, kidnappers, and traitors be investigated. A Taliban spokesman said the order from the leader of the Islamic Emirate would be implemented across the country.

Significantly, after the Taliban came to power in the country, many anti-human rights rules have been implemented. The Taliban has closed higher education for girls. Women activists in the country are continuously raising their voices against the rules of the Taliban. At the same time, many global organizations have also strongly condemned this move of the Taliban. The UN chief had said that the Taliban's denial of education to girls is a wrong step towards society. They should refrain from doing so. Ever since the Taliban government came to power in Afghanistan, the freedom of women to do jobs in the country has also been abolished.
