Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly criticized international organizations, women's groups, and the UN for remaining silent on the atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists on women. He also asked questions to these organizations through social media.
In a post on the social media platform X, Netanyahu said, 'I want to say to women's rights organizations and human rights organizations that you heard about the rape of Israeli women, but where were you at that time? I was hoping that world-class leaders would talk about this cruelty.
Netanyahu furious at the silence of international organizations
Prime Minister Netanyahu, addressing a press conference in Tel Aviv, said that he met with the released hostages and the families of those taken hostage. He said, 'I heard their heart-wrenching stories. I was told painful stories of rape. Netanyahu further said that in all this not a single word was said by the women's organization or any other organization. He questioned these organizations, 'You are silent because they were Jewish women?'
Netanyahu said that the only way to free the hostages is war and that ground operations and humanitarian aid are in support of this. Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that when the ground operation began he was confident that only pressure on Hamas could lead to the release of the hostages. On the supply of fuel to Gaza, Gallant said that Israel also has the right to demand in return.
