Israel-Hamas War The war between Israel and Hamas is proving to be most dangerous for the people of Gaza. Israel is continuously launching rocket attacks on Gaza. At any time the Israeli army can enter Gaza and launch a major attack. Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus have made a special appeal to Israel and Hamas.

The UN Secretary-General made two appeals

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has made two special appeals. In the first, Hamas has been asked to release the Israeli hostages without any conditions. At the same time, Guterres further said that my second appeal is that humanitarian aid should reach Gaza quickly and without interruption.

"As we stand on the brink of disaster in the Middle East, it is my duty as Secretary-General of the United Nations to make these two strong humanitarian appeals," he said in a statement on Sunday. The UN chief said that each of these objectives is legitimate in itself. It should not become a means of bargaining.

WHO chief said – war will only bring destruction

On the other hand, the head of the World Health Organization also urged Hamas to release all civilian hostages. He warned that a war between Israel and the Islamic group would only bring destruction and terror. The WHO chief further said he is deeply concerned by Israeli attacks, in which innocent Palestinian civilians and children are paying the price.

Guterres said - If the way is found then help will reach within a few hours

Guterres said the United Nations has stockpiles of food, water, non-food items, medical supplies, and fuel available in Egypt, Jordan, the West Bank, and Israel. According to the report of Xinhua news agency, if everything goes well then these goods can be sent within a few hours.

Guterres said that to ensure delivery, UN staff and partners on the ground must be able to get these supplies safely and without hindrance to those in need in and across Gaza.
