Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is currently in the limelight for his upcoming film 'Jaat'. This film is going to hit the theatres on 10th April. On one hand, Salman Khan's 'Sikander' is making fluctuating earnings at the box office.
On the other hand, the booking of 'Jaat' has started. Today, the figures for the second day's earnings have also come out. Let's know what wonders 'Jaat' has shown in the booking before its release.
Booking report of Jaat
Sunny Deol's action film 'Jaat' seems to be making a strong hold on the box office even before its release. According to the report of Sacnilk, a site that keeps data of box office and advance booking, till the time of writing the news, the film has recorded the sale of 36,295 tickets in the first day's advance booking. These tickets have been booked for more than 7434 shows spread across the country, which shows the excitement of the audience.
The film has earned Rs 61.34 lakh from advance tickets alone. Not only this, the total earnings from booking of 'Jaat' including block seating (which is reserved in advance for the show) has now reached Rs 2.67 crore.
Will Sikandar suffer losses due to the release of Jaat?
The budget of the film is also in the news. According to media reports, 'Jaat' is a mega-budget action entertainer of around Rs 200 crore. While Randeep Hooda has been paid around Rs 7 crore for this film, Sunny Deol has surprised everyone in terms of fees.
According to reports, Sunny Deol has charged Rs 50 crore for this film, which is about one-fourth of the total budget of the film. The release of the film can also have a huge impact on Salman Khan's Sikandar. Sikandar is currently not able to earn much at the box office. So it won't be wrong to say that Sunny Deol's Jaat can become a problem for Bhaijaan's film.
Starcast of Jaat film
There is tremendous excitement among the audience about 'Jaat' which is releasing on 10th April. The glimpse of the fierce clash between Randeep Hooda and Sunny Deol in the trailer of the film has increased this excitement even more. For the first time, these two powerhouse actors will be seen sharing the screen, and this will be no less than a treat for action lovers.
Not only this, 'Bahubali' fame Ramya Krishnan will also be seen in an important role in this film. Ramya, who has made a strong presence in South and Hindi cinema, joining this project is making the film even more special. Now it remains to be seen what wonders this big-budget film can do at the box office.
