Directed by RS Prasanna, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' is based on a group of intellectually disabled people. Aamir plays the basketball coach of these children in the film. Along with Aamir, ten new actors have appeared in the film, who are also intellectually disabled in real life. These actors have acted brilliantly in the film. Genelia D'Souza has also appeared in a lead role in the film along with Aamir.
