Two senior Congress leaders clashed over this article. Congress's communication head Jairam Ramesh wrote on Twitter, that Congress MP Manish Tewari has written an article on Agneepath. Congress is a democratic party. It needs to be said that these views are his own and have nothing to do with the party. The party believes that this scheme is against the security of the nation and the youth, which has been imposed without discussion.

 

Manish Tewari also reacted immediately on Twitter after Jairam Ramesh's tweet. He wrote, in the tag line of the article itself, it is written that these are the personal views of the author. He had said, the truth is that India needs an army of youth who is also a leader in technical knowledge and knows the use of modern weapons. The army is not an employment guarantee program.
