In a statement issued by him, it was written, 'Pushing someone just because someone wants to take a selfie is highly reprehensible. It is an insult to the people who have elected him as a public representative.'

Users also targeted

As soon as this video surfaced, there was a flood of reactions on social media. Many users termed Jaya Bachchan's behavior as arrogant and intolerable. Many users made comments against Jaya Bachchan. One user wrote- 'You should respect your fans, because you have reached where you are only because of us.'

Kangana Ranaut also condemned

She wrote on social media that women like Jaya Bachchan, who openly display their privileges, spread the wrong message in society. She also said that if Jaya Bachchan were not Amitabh Bachchan's wife, then perhaps people would not have taken her behavior so easily.

Jaya has done something like this before

This is not the first such case of Jaya Bachchan. Even before this, she had been seen getting angry at the media, reprimanding photographers, and behaving uncomfortably in public events. This style of hers has now become a permanent part of her image.
