Jeeva Murder: Shooter shot 6 bullets to Jeeva in Lucknow court, postmortem report came, lawyers strike

Sanjeev Jeeva Murder case: In the case of the murder of Sanjeev Maheshwari alias Jeeva, a close shooter of Mukhtar Ansari, the SIT inspected the spot on Wednesday late night. The SIT has been asked to submit the report in a week. Late in the night, a team of doctors was formed and the post-mortem of the dead body was done. The report confirmed six bullet injuries to Jeeva. The accused shot Jeeva four times in the chest and two below.

Jeeva was shot dead in broad daylight in the SC-ST Court on Wednesday. The police have interrogated the accused Vijay Yadav, who was caught on the spot, for a long time. The SIT has also gathered information about the accused. During interrogation, the accused did not give any important information to the police. The police have contacted the family members of the accused.

Sources say that the accused was not in contact with the family for a month. Suspecting a conspiracy behind the murder, the police are ascertaining the details of the people who were in contact with the accused. On the other hand, after the murder of Jeeva on the court premises, the angry advocates declared a strike. On Thursday, because of the security, a large number of police personnel were deployed in and around the court premises. Security personnel have been instructed to remain alert.

Why was Jiva, who often appeared in a bulletproof jacket, brought in a normal manner on Wednesday? Questions are also being raised regarding this. Joint Police Commissioner Law and Order Upendra Aggarwal say that all aspects are being investigated. It will be clear only after the investigation that there was a lapse in security.
