Star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has returned to the field after almost 15 months. Currently, he is seen playing in IPL 2024. The captain of Delhi Capitals is looking in tremendous form. He has played four matches so far in the 17th season of IPL. In these, Pant has scored 152 runs. Two half-centuries have come from his bat. In such a situation, it is believed that he may get a place in India's squad in the T20 World Cup 2024. Now Michael Clarke has given a big statement regarding this.

Pant has scored 158.33 strike runs with his comeback in IPL. He has hit 12 fours and nine sixes against the opposing team. It is believed that the 26-year-old player may get a chance to play for the T20 World Cup to be led by West Indies and America in June. Former Australian players talked about this topic. He said that during the match against Kolkata, the physio had to come to the field once or twice. Hope he is fine and fit.

The former player said this

Clarke said, "I saw that the Delhi physio came running almost a couple of times to check him. So I hope he has recovered and the positive thing is that he said in the presentation party after the match that he He is fine and we hope that after taking rest for about two days in the coming days, he will be fit again for the next match."

Pant's half-century in vain

In the match played against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 3, Kolkata Knight Riders set the target of 272 runs by losing seven wickets in 20 overs. This is the second-highest target of IPL. In response, Delhi Capitals was all out for 166 runs in 17.2 overs. Pant scored a brilliant half-century in this match. He was out after scoring 55 runs in 25 balls, but the captain could not lead the team to victory. Apart from this, a fine of Rs 24 lakh was also imposed on him due to slow overrate.
