Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has reached Srinagar. He is on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from today. The Defense Minister attended the Shaurya Diwas program organized by the Indian Army in Budgam, Srinagar. Addressing the program here, he remembered the brave martyred soldiers who laid down their lives to maintain the unity and integrity of the country.
In his address, the Defense Minister said-
He saluted the brave soldiers of Shaurya Diwas. He said, when it was Diwali in the country, they were playing Holi.
Today's Shaurya Diwas is a day to remember the sacrifices and sacrifices of those brave fighters. Today is a day to salute his sacrifice and dedication from the heart.
The story of partition was written between India and Pakistan in 1947. The bloody ink of this story was not dry yet a new script of betrayal by Pakistan had begun to be written. The character of Pakistan that emerged within a few days of Partition was never imagined.
The huge building of India that we are seeing today rests on the foundation of the sacrifice of our brave warriors. This huge banyan tree named Bharat is irrigated by the blood and sweat of those brave soldiers. Our army with indomitable courage and bravery forced the enemies to retreat. Our army got its first victory in 1947. Indian army is a great army.
The orgy of terrorism that this state witnessed in the name of Kashmiriyat cannot be described. There is no account of how much blood was shed in the name of religion.
- Many people tried to connect terror with religion. Terrorists only know how to carry out their plans by pointing a gun. If anyone is affected, then he is an Indian first, and before that he is a human being.
When any action is taken by the security forces to ensure the safety of the public, some so-called intellectuals of the country start worrying about the human rights of terrorists. It is surprising that when the army and the general public are attacked, then where does the concern for these human rights go? Then they sit with their mouth closed.
- I understand the situation that has been created in Jammu and Kashmir. The silence of such people was a big reason behind them. When Kashmiri Pandits were forced to migrate from the valley.
Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Sher-e-Duggar Pandit Prem Nath Dogra were also remembered.
Despite being an integral part of the country, Jammu and Kashmir were discriminated against. Basic rights were also taken away from Kashmir by giving the so-called special status to Kashmir. The welfare schemes of the government used to run from Delhi. Himachal used to stop till Punjab.
Today devotees come from far and wide to visit the temple of Adi Shankaracharya. They symbolize the culture of the nation. See the irony, where the temple of Adi Shankaracharya, the one who tied the thread of India's unity, is located, that area came to be seen and understood differently from the rest of India.
- How many rights have the people of PoojeK got? Every day there are reports of inhuman incidents. In the coming time, Pakistan will get the result of its actions. We also feel the pain of the people of POJK.
Now we have started walking in the north direction. The Yatra will be completed when the resolution passed in the Indian Parliament on 22 February 1949 will be implemented. Accordingly, Gilgit will reach Baltistan. Then the dream of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will be fulfilled. The refugees of 1947 will get justice.
