His wife has confirmed this in her statement to the DIG. At the same time, Manish is accused of abusing a female home guard during his posting in Amroha. Confirming this in front of the DIG, the female home guard stated that Manish had fired her from the job on her protest.
She was later reinstated on a complaint from the DG Home Guard. At the same time, during the investigation, PCS Jyoti Maurya had sent her statement in writing instead of appearing herself.
