The player auction for IPL 2024 is to be held on December 19 in Dubai. A total of 333 players will try their luck in the auction. A total of 77 slots are vacant, including 30 slots for foreign players. In such a situation, all ten franchises will come to the table after completing their homework regarding the players. There may be tough competition for some star players between some franchises. Some big stars like Travis Head, Rachin Ravindra, and Mitchell Starc will try their luck in the auction. We are showing you the big faces of all the 10 franchises, who are likely to be present on their respective franchise tables during the auction.

Mumbai Indians: Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani

The Mumbai Indians (MI) owner is always seen smiling after buying target players. Nita Ambani never misses the day of the IPL auction and her presence keeps everyone focused on their target. Along with him, his son Akash Ambani also attends the auction. Both are usually quite calm and help the team management in making decisions.

Chennai Super Kings: Kasi Viswanathan

Kasi Vishwanathan is the CEO of Chennai Super Kings. During the auction, he is always seen wearing earphones in his ears. Kasi Vishwanathan's role is most important in deciding which player CSK should buy and who not.

Rajasthan Royals: Kumar Sangakkara

The former Sri Lankan great joined the team as the director of Rajasthan Royals in 2022 and has participated in two auctions since then. Sangakkara's calm nature and coolness are visible even during the auction and he seems to make very wise decisions. Sangakkara is said to be one of the best cricketing minds and this may also be reflected in the selection of players in the auction this year.

Gujarat Titans: Ashish Nehra

Gujarat Titans coach Ashish Nehra remains in an animated mood even during the auction. He keeps talking constantly with other team owners and management. Nehra also has an excellent cricketing mind and he selects players thoughtfully. This team has been reaching the finals for the last two times.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Andy Flower

This great Zimbabwean player was seen on the auction table of Lucknow Super Giants in the last auction. However, this year Andy Flower will be seen making the auction strategy for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). RCB will have high expectations from him.

Lucknow Super Giants: Justin Langer

Former Australia head coach Justin Langer will be the new coach of Lucknow Super Giants. Last time, Gautam Gambhir was also seen at the table in Lucknow, he will not be seen this year. In such a situation, Lucknow has a lot of confidence in Langer. It is expected that he will be seen making big and important decisions in the auction to make this team a champion.

Delhi Capitals: Kiran Kumar Gandhi

Kiran Kumar Gandhi, who is the co-owner of Delhi Capitals, is someone who is known for his brilliant strategy in the auction. He is quite experienced in the auction and knows how to bid for which players. This is the reason why Delhi may never have become champion, but the team has never had a dearth of star players.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Jhanvi Mehta, Gautam Gambhir

Jhanvi Mehta is an important member of the KKR think tank in the matter of auction. Jhanvi, daughter of KKR co-owners Jai Mehta and Juhi Chawla, is ready with the list of players her team wants to buy. This year she can be seen at the auction table with KKR CEO Venky Mysore and mentor Gautam Gambhir. It remains to be seen whether Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan will be present or not.

Punjab Kings: Preity Zinta

Preity Zinta is always present at the IPL auction. She was last seen in the mega auction of IPL 2022. The co-owner of Punjab Kings had then bid for South's explosive batsman Shahrukh Khan and then when Shahrukh was bought, she started laughing out loud. This time also Preeti can spread her glamor in the auction.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Kavya Maran

Sunrisers Hyderabad owner Kavya Maran is present in every auction. Although, she buys good players every time, since 2020 her team has not managed to do well. She is seen constantly discussing with her head coach and management during the auction as to when to bid for a player or when to hold back. He is likely to be present in Dubai on the day of the auction. Kavya can be seen adding charm to the auction with her glamour.
