The makers of the film "Kaantara Chapter 1" hosted a success party in Delhi on Wednesday. Present at the event were writer-director and actor Rishabh Shetty, his wife and costume designer Pragati Shetty, actor Gulshan Devaiah, and actor Jayaram, along with the film's makers and DOP.
Rishabh said, "We've made the film visually very big." At the event, Rishabh said, "From the last episode to this episode, we've made the film visually very big. I've said before that the more regional we go, the more global we'll become, and that's exactly what happened." On playing the role of Dev Guliga, Rishabh said, "This film and character were my dream, which my team made theirs, and now it's become the public's dream. My energy has been transferred to the public."
Rishabh's wife, Pragati, said, "My favorite in the film was Gulshan Devaiah, and then there was Rishabh Shetty as the film's captain." DOP Arvind Kashyap said the film's visuals are being praised solely because of its good story.
Completed the climax scene with the help of painkillers
At the event, Rishabh Shetty also revealed that he completed the climax scene with the help of painkillers. He said, "We shot the film both day and night. For 10-15 days, I barely shot, working while taking painkillers. I would rest for a while and then shoot the scene." Rishabh also said that the entire film team has always supported him.
Gulshan heard the film's story at 12 o'clock at night.
Gulshan Devaiah also shared many things about the film 'Kantara Chapter 1' at the event. He said, "I met Rishabh in 2019, and we sat together and ate dosa. I didn't know him, but he had seen my film 'Hunter'. I also liked his work." He made 'Kantara' and did not call me; I thought no one would call me. Then one night at 12 o'clock, he called me and told me the entire story, and after listening to it, I felt as if I would be committing a sin if I did not do this film. I belong to Coorg in Karnataka, but I started with Hindi films, and then Rishabh gave me the first opportunity to join my regional cinema, so I said yes. I enjoyed acting in the film 'Kantara Chapter 1', playing a different character.' Gulshan also sang a song at the event and also got slogans of Rishabh Shetty and Kantara Zindabad raised.
