The Delhi government on Thursday provided financial assistance of Rs one crore each to the families of two frontline workers who lost their lives due to Covid.
Health Minister Satendra Jain tweeted, 'Late Smt. Munish Devi Ji died due to the coronavirus while doing duty during the corona pandemic. Today, meeting his family members, as per the orders of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, gave him an honorarium of Rs one crore and assured him of all kinds of help in the future.
Jain said that an honorarium of Rs 1 crore has also been given to the family of Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Singh, who died due to the coronavirus while serving in the hospital. The nation will always be indebted for his service, he said.
